I was born and raised in Kansas. I graduated with honors from Kansas State University (2000) and went on to receive my medical degree at the University of Kansas. I trained at the University of Kansas for 5 years, completing my surgical training with distinct honors in 2009.
I am a board-certified General Surgeon with over 10 years of practice experience delivering quality surgical care. I am passionate about achieving excellence. This is demonstrated throughout my schooling, career, and professional development. I completed residency at the University of Kansas Hospital with strong programs in General Surgery, Level 1 Trauma/Critical Care, Surgical Oncology, and Liver Transplant. I maintain interests in surgical oncology and general surgery.
